After a successful tour of England, India has announced their youth squad for the tour of Australia, once again led by Ayush Mhatre. Young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi retains his spot in both the Test and ODI squads.
India U19 Squad Gears Up for Australia Tour with ODIs and Multi-Day Match
The tour begins on September 21 with three ODIs scheduled at Norths, followed by a multi-day match from September 30 to October 10 in Mackay..
The 18-member squad will be captained by Ayush Mhatre. Vihaan Malhotra, who impressed during the England tour, has been retained as Vice-Captain. The squad includes two wicketkeepers, Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh. Abhigyan, who had a strong performance in England, is expected to start ahead of Harvansh.

Several players from the England tour have retained their places, including Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Rahul Kumar, Harvansh Singh, R.S. Ambrish, Kanishk Chouhan, Henil Patel, D. Deepesh, Anmoljeet Singh, and Naman Pushpak.
New additions to the squad include Kishan Kumar, Udhav Mohan, Aman Chauhan, and Khilan Patel. All four are returning from injury after missing out on the England series.
Five players have been named as stand-bys and will travel with the team: Yudhajit Guha, Laxman, B.K. Kishore, Alankrith Rapole, and Arnav Bugga.

India’s youth team is coming off a 3-2 ODI series win and a drawn Test series in England. They’ve shown great character and consistency, standing up well in challenging away conditions, and they’ll be aiming to carry that momentum into the Australia tour.
