Former India skipper & keeper-batter MS Dhoni shared some undisclosed insights about Virat Kohli during his most recent event held in Chennai. While the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star comes across as an intense and fiery character on the field, off the field is a complete goofball. A lot of former players who have played with Kohli say that he is an absolute entertainer off the field. Dhoni echoed those sentiments and said the former India captain had a flair for singing, dancing, and mimicry, describing him as an absolute complete package when he is in the mood.
For the unversed, Dhoni & Kohli share a very good bond off the field. Often, the latter calls him his brother and mentor. In fact, he also said that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star was the first person to reach out to him when he relinquished Test captaincy in 2021. Apart from off the field, both the icons share terrific chemistry while running between the wickets, with Kohli also went on to record saying he blindly trusts Dhoni when he calls for a quick single.
Kohli made his international debut under Dhoni's captaincy in 2008 and later succeeded him to captain all formats of the game in 2017. The duo have won several trophies together, including the 2011 ODI World Cup and the Champions Trophy in 2013.

"He also sings well. He is a good singer. He is a good dancer. He is good at mimicry. If he is in the mood, he is very, very entertaining,” said Dhoni to the anchor, Bhavana Balakrishnan.
MS Dhoni & Virat Kohli a friendship beyond cricket
For any friendship to last a lifetime, trust and mutual respect are immensely important. Both Dhoni and Kohli always had these two ingredients, and that's why they have been friends for over 15 years. While these two share fond memories playing for India, they also share intense rivalry while playing against each other in the IPL. Dhoni, playing for CSK, has won a colossal five IPL titles, while Kohli, playing for the same franchise, RCB, for 18 years, finally achieved his long-standing dream of winning the cup in this IPL season.
