IPL 2025 Finals: All You Need To Know about IPL 2025 Closing Ceremony

IPL 2025 Closing ceremony

Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) will come to an end on Tuesday, June 03, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Unlike every year, where the Board of the Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) plans the closing ceremony by calling prominent Bollywood artists and celebrities, this time, the board has decided to give a special tribute to the Indian Armed Forces during the closing ceremony.

The decision was finalized after the Armed Forces carried out a successful Operation Sindoor, which saw them majorly eliminating various terrorist camps in Pakistan & Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has already confirmed the news to Hindustan Times that this year's IPL 2025 closing ceremony will not be such a starry affair like the previous one and that they are indeed paying a fitting tribute to the Indian Armed Forces.

For the unversed, the IPL 2025 event was suspended for one week after brewing tensions between India and Pakistan at the border following a cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir, which saw 26 innocent people being killed. India gave a fitting reply with Operation Sindoor, which saw the Indian Armed Forces selflessly serving the nation and protecting billions of lives. The IPL 2025 event eventually resumed on May 17 after a ceasefire was declared.
