India's new Test skipper Shubman Gill, has lavished huge praise and credited predecessors Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for all the valuable experience he gained during the team he played under both ahead of India's Tour of England, starting on June 20. Gill will embark on a new-bold era of Indian cricket after the retirements of stalwarts Ravi Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, & Virat Kohli in the Tests within six months.
Gill will lead a relatively inexperienced team under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir and will be looking to win the first series in England since 2007.

“The kind of environment Rohit bhai kept, even if Rohit bhai is swearing at you, you would not take it to your heart. That’s just kind of his personality. I think that’s a great trait to have. He’s firm, but even if he’s being hard on you, you know that it’s not coming from his heart. It’s coming from a team perspective,” he added.
