The right-hand batter recently shared a picture of himself at the indoor net session in London, the legendary cricketer hinted at a potential readiness to compete at the international level after a six-month hiatus.

There were swirling speculations that Kohli might bid adieu to the ODI format also and might settle down in London with his young family. The 38-year-old dismissed those talks with a solid practice session and a recent fan page interaction, which gives us only one message louder - Kohli is not going anywhere for now.

Kohli had posted a photo on his Instagram account of his indoor training session last week. The picture featured the RCB star batting alongside GT assistant coach Naeem Amin. The former gave a fitting caption to the Instagram story, stating: "Thanks for helping out with the hit, brother. Always lovely to see you."

One of the fan pages also re shared Kohli's post, almost putting an end to speculations of him walking away from the ODI format. The RCB star also liked the post. The fan page also posted the picture of his post on their story, writing, "Virat Kohli liked my post".

While these are still early days to predict about Kohli's long term future, the BCCI is tightlipped about him continuing to feature till the ODI World Cup 2027 event. While there is no doubt about his fitness levels, reports say that the selection panel is likely to groom young players for the showpiece event.
